Long travel BS thread

    the biggest battle right here.... do you go with a horizontal or vertical upper uniball?

    horizontal: allows for almost infinite up and down travel, however it cannot pivot much before it starts to max out the angle= limiting steering angle= wide turning radius

    vertical: allows for full turning radius, but the limit is in the up and down travel as the uniball will max out.

    I went with horizontal with high-misalignment spacers on the uniball, should have almost all of my stock turning radius.

    Guess it just depends on how high you want to jump or how sharp you want to turn. If I was in the desert I wouldn't worry about wide turns because its the open desert. (sand dunes whatever) If it was on a truck that would be driven on the road as well as played with like your will be I guess, then I would go with the turning radius.
