I'm thinking about doing up my rear end soon. Won't be to expensive. And would give me something to do on my 8 days off.

Chevy 64" leaf swap is what I want. And shackled flip.

is that all you gotta do is flip the shackle or do you need to get a lowering shackle to bring it down?

it should handle a ton better too with it.

Well depends how much you have the springs arched as to what shackle to use. But the hanger gets flipped, the front hanger gets moved forward, and generally you use a lowering shackle. Stupid amount of travel for cheap. Something like 20" I think? Double the travel basically. And with some good shocks, would be awesome.

Lots of people I see do the front and don't touch the rear since they're outta money from doing the front lol. Im gonna do the opposite. Rear first.

yeah my leafs im getting are approx 6in lift leafs front deaver, even though ill have approx 6in up front, I got a lowering shackle and see how it does, when I save up I plan on getting a custom fabbed shackle to handle the stress and I wont have to worry about it.

To many options out there for a rear setup. Not enough for a front system on my truck.

I hear that. For me only mid travel was camburg, for 2k i could have upper arms, spring and spindle, pay extra for shocks. For a lil over 3k from btf i get upper and lower arms w/uniballs, spindle, springs, shocks, heim steering and for a lil extra i get deavers and shocks. All shocks are fox 2.0. Still need air bumps/straps, but ill get the bump plates needed so ill have to mock it up and weld em in. Easy.

For 5k i get a long travel kit, still would need coilovers, shock hoops, bumps/straps... Yeah ill do it later when I can drop 10-15k on it, at that point ill get another truck I can play with... Might even do 4x4 dixon bros long travel... :hmm:

    And boom goes the dynamite.

Dixon bros isn't doing kits anymore.
That's why I have like, no options for the front right now lol.

Heard BTF was working on a 4x4 ranger kit, but haven't heard much lately.

    Yeah camburg is 2wd.

Dixon just hasn't been answering phones, they haven't had axle shafts for their 4x kits for ages. Lots of folks didn't get any with their kits.
