So my buddy has a dash and most of the trim from a 98 ranger, it will fit but I need to do a custom instrument cluster, probable diamond plate aluminum with most of the necessary gauges in the dash and maybe a couple elsewhere, I'm going to have to fab something for the odometer because I would like to keep that functional. My other buddy also has a gt universal steering wheel he's going to toss my way. And I'm pretty set going with some 33s instead of the 35s. I'm afraid once i fab some extended radius arms ill have more flex and not enough room for it. Those 35s are pretty stuffed as it is. I have a few things I promised the wife I'd get done first then I'm gettin after this thing! Build thread to come soon.

sweet man! you should get a piece of aluminum for the gauages instead and then do the brushed circles into it, i did this for a buddies car and it came out awesome! We used Equus gauges because theyre cheaper than the autometer but they work great

Hmm... I like that idea. I see some of the fire trucks around here with the swirled aluminum on the ladders.

personally i think the swirls just is a perfect way to finish it, its easy to do (if your patient haha) but i think thatd look perfect in your kind of truck.

I'm really going to have to ponder that now. I like how clean and industrial diamond plate looks. But the swirls would definitely add a unique quality.

Only thing I dont like about diamond plates is that the gauges won't mount flush with a trim piece because of the ridges in the place, just my two cents

could always grind those high spots down too. Although it will take time to do that.
