i ended up buying a 2 ton jack. it came with 2 2 ton jack stands regular $50 for $39.99. i figured that im not lifting the entire truck up, 2 ton should be more than enough.
Alright that jack was a P.O.S. haha took it back and picked up a 12 ton Kobalt bottle jack from Lowes for $10 more. this thing has a pretty good lift range and lifts pretty fast. Not to mention it seems a lot more sturdy. Anyways, I'm looking to do the install tomorrow and will do write up for sure. with lots of pics of course!!
