ok, my injectors are loud as hell, they are nice and quiet at idle but when you give it gas they tick like crazy, pretty sure its them, i put a pipe on them, stuck it to my ear and thats where the sound was coming from, no sound from the valve covers, i've dumped a few bottles of cleaner through them and it didnt help much, they seem to be louder lately, any thoughts?
I have lots of thoughts. One is that mine does that too, and i think we need to replace our injectors... Does your truck seem to lack power?
its been sluggish on take off lately, posted another thread for that, but cruising its just fine, ive dumped cleaner thru them and no difference, makes me mad cause they kinda sound like garbage
any new thoughts on this? they seem to be louder now, it almost reminds me of when my dad's truck had a manifold leak but the majority of the noise appears to be coming from the injector area not the manifold
