well ive been towing alot recently because im moving and really been noticing a loos of power. Now this power loss is only after my truck has reached operating temp and under 2500 rpm after that the truck acts like normal or if im at 45 it will accelerate onto the freeway nicely.

Also there's been a noticeably large decrees in mileage from 15.6 to 14.1 when not towing.

One last thing on light acceleration i have a misfire that does not throw a cel. Ive already changed cylinder #5 plug, cop, boot. We hooked it up to a power balance and that's the one that was misfiring and it didnt change at all when i changed that stuff.

    Any help would be appreciated.

pop your hood in the black dark and start your engine...look for any fire jumping....start there and get back to me

Sticky or stuck open fuel injector. Thus would cause a misfire that would not set a cel and would cause poor fuel mileage

Misfiring CEL's are hit or miss, or at least they are when it comes to my truck.
