Made a trip to Pick n pull today..

    Had to go there for my FIL and buddy. Ended up finding a spare motor or two for the truck. Half off weekend, grand total for 2 motors.....$140!!!!!

    I am stoked, going out to pull them tomorrow as I was not prepared today for an engine pull! May just get the truck back on the road sooner than expected!

    PS Dustin, if you are needing a spare 5.4 let me know. I will have a spare once I figure out if these are good or not!:peace:

    Total Engine count at the house now ( my wife is going to kill me! LOL)

    1 short block
    3 long blocks after the trip to PNP tomorrow!

    congrats dude. you cant find a good motor for 140, much less 2. thats awesome, hope both of them are good

    so what exactly is the difference between the short and long blocks?

    Long block = heads on w/ intake
    Short block = No heads or intake

    i see..so its not like actual motor is different, its just what all comes with it
