    i dont know...i used a long bed 78 ford for a while and i can get just as much in the bed of the nite as i could the 78...just let it hang off the tailgate or lower it...

    Whats the length of your bed? My dad had a "short" bed on his 1990 F150 Extcab and it was 7' lol

    Short bed, looks. I don't mind long beds on older bodystyle and classic pickups. The super duty crewcabs aren't bad with a long bed as long as they're 4x4's. I wouldn't own a 2WD Super Duty personally.

    on a screw a long bed would look awekward such as:

    just because of the super long wheel base. other models it would look good on. on the SD's however, screw w/longbed ftw.

    :yourself: Not only do I look dead sexy going down the highway, I can toss in a load of 8' lumber and close the tailgate. The super long wheelbase also gives me a smoother ride.

    screw 4x4 (leveled or lifted) - long bed
    other cabs short (6.5ft)
