May need a tune?

    Oil changes being done is the good thing.. Cause this is what happens when ya don't.. Cause all kinds of issues..

    So driving it hard but keeping good maintaince of the engine and it will last long

    What horsepower are you getting from your built 302?

    It should be around 300 at the wheels 400 at the crank.. But I have just the stock intake right now and a fairly mild cam.. I could get 500 easily.. Problem is though the 5.0 blocks break in half above 450 or so..

    A 351W can get same Hp more torque and live a lot longer..

    Do you mind me asking price? I know for 3000 you can have a stout 600hp 460

    Whew in pic of the valley of that motor
    reminded me of the oil crust I found in the
    late 1980's on my girlfriend now wife's
    1978 Plymouth Volare with a 225 slant 6 cylinder.

    The valve cover gasket was leaking, I took the cover
    off to replace the gasket. Underneath was a oil crust
    that made it look like a second valve cover under the
    metal one.

    I kinda doubt your getting 400 bhp, a 347 stroker with a bunch work only makes 425hp

    Edlebrock has a top end kit for the 351w that makes 400/450 for $1,000.....
