I love some stuff Ford Strokers does.. But I personally couldn't bring myself to spend the kind of money they want for 425hp.. I have 3500 total and complete In my build and install.. All new stuff. I'm talking down to the very last bolt and paint can and cleaning supply.. They hardly have short blocks for that much. Much less complete ready to fire engines... I totally agree, my point just being is with your setup I bet you're around 350-375 bhp. Your cam is pretty street able even with the 1.72 s
I think it would be cool to have a twin turbod 302 from junkyard turbos but that would be tricky with efi
No not really... Have a explorer gt40 intake on it, and put like a F.A.S.T. System on it... And the other upgrades like fuel system and done.. Also you can buy turbo's any more freshly rebuilt for dirt cheap.. Sent from my iPhone 4 using Ford Power
Even if I'm around 375 your really arguin over 25 Hp??????????????????? Current intake is really small also.. Lost Hp right there And yeah cam is very very very mild.. So if went wild on cam I'm sure I'd be at least 400.. Sent from my iPhone 4 using Ford Power
Not worth it.. Doesn't give much.. Save your money.. I used to love the thought of gt40's and did it on a previous truck with a 351W in it.. Made like no difference Sent from my iPhone 4 using Ford Power
Gt40 heads are great for a stock head to build off of, lots of porting and polishing an bigger valves and you're siting pretty good for around $650 with maching and parts but at the same time for $1200 you can have some aluminum heads that'll out perform that. But on a budget a gt40 is a good base
