A random orbital is worth every cent spent on it. I used one for the first time on my truck last week... holy cow, I never knew what I was missing. It speeds the process exponentially and works a heck of a lot better at removing swirls than doing it by hand. My truck looks like a liquid mirror. It's never looked like that when polishing and waxing by hand.
