Ok, lately my headlights have been acting strange. A few minutes after i throw them on, i will notice that the brights indicator starts to gently glow... like its trying to come on, then it comes on full. But the actual highs dont seem to come on. Im confused as to what it could be. Any idea?

I would try the dimmer switch first sounds that's where the problem is to me.

Ok. I'll look into that and see where that goes. Thanks.

 I would do the switch first and if that didn't do it, I would do the relay next.

Ok... i just re read my original post and realize that i was kinda unclear. I wasnt TRYING to have the high beams on, the indicator on the dash would come on all by itself. If i actually flicked the HBs on, then only the right side would come on and the left headlight would go off completely.

Anyway, had to make a run to the store tonight and realized my right light was burnt out, so i swung over to autozone and got two new ones. When i swapped them in, my headlights worked and my high beam indicator no longer comes on all on its own... ok, strange but i will take it. I went ahead and tried flipping on the highs while i was still in the parking lot and both of them switched over and all was good. I'm thinking this is sweet...something really simple fixing my issues. Half way home i went to the highs on a backroad loaded with deer and of course... no left highbeam again! None of the other issues came back though, so at least there is that. Ok, i feel better now. Just needed to rant a little. I figure some wire somewhere isnt pulling its wait so when i get the time imma try and track it down. You mutha-suckas have a good damn night!
