My old sub would at times simply not work. Amp lights would be on, everything else working fine, but no sound from the sub. I got sick of it and replaced the sub. The new one worked fine for a week or so then started doing the same thing. Usually works, but sometimes I start the truck up and...nothing. It might come on sometime during the drive, but usually doesnt and it might be a day or two before it starts working again. The speaker wire from amp to box and box to sub are both new. Amp lights are on. Amp has never overheated. Sub not even a month old. I have checked most of the wiring and connections. Connections to amp are all fine, ground was fine, power is connected to the battery. With the old sub I checked my connections to the HU and they are okay. All fuses are good. Only thing that hasn't been checked is the entire length of the RCAs and Remote wires.

Do you guys think it is the RCAs, Remote, or possibly the amp? I am open to all suggestions. I have been planning to get a new amp anyway this summer, but right now I just dont have the money.

I really hate not having any bass with my music.:suicide:
