    Update, over the past few days i have pulled the old tranny out and got ready to put the "new" tranny in. the "new" one is from a 1999 and i just found out that it will not work for my truck. there is one plug on the side of the transmission that is not the same for my wiring harness. Now i gotta try to find another "new" tranny from a 1997 so i can get my truck back on the road.
