I did that before cause the egr port was clogged and I just felt about 2 more horses didn't see a mpg change. I was thinking performance coils n wires. Wait would a custom tune do this? I'm sorry to everyone else but I have been getting 9mpg driving normal for a while. The mechanic that does stuff on my truck if I ain't got the time told me it was low mpg cause I took off the stock muffler. Im thinking of putting on shorty headers, removing rear cats, and popping my glass pack on. So I got a good amount of back pressure. I might start by getting a buddy to weld my glass pack on.

I also run 33's in the rear n 31's up front. I got 3.55 gears. I even clean the **** out of the engine and up under the truck.

Don't mean to be a dick n act like I know it all but I got a custom tune so a programmer won't help.

    Here is my list.

    E fans one day
    Exhaust
    And tailgate down

    Any others?

    I Don't want a ****in prius lol. But 9mpg with a 98 f150 with a 4.6 is bad.

It's not but it lasts longer it lubes better. And doesn't burn like reg oil does. I run for a month and check the oil and there is barely anything on the stick. But with the tractor oil it doesn't burn as much. And I wanna try royal purple and a k&n filter but $9 a quart for oil makes me **** my self cause im used to free lol. O an we use tractor oil in everything.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but cleaning the MAF sensor makes a HUGE improvement with throttle response and fuel mileage. It's worth the $7.00 can of MAF cleaner.
