Mud tires in the Snow

    i just got some 33" fierce M/T and im one of the 2wd trucks and was wondering how do M/Ts do in the snow and i really dont want to hear Bull **** about 2wd i just want to know how M/Ts preform

    im kiddin bud im right there with ya. get a locker or limited slip (helps sooooo much i know i got one) but they should do real well, better than street slicks or mild A/Ts

    yeah ive got a lockright locker sittin in my backseat im just waitin on my parents to buy this new shop so i can use the like (they wont let me do it at home) i got one for this winter cause last year i got stuck left and right

    same here. dont think we (im from dallas) got it nearly as yall did up there in OK. but I still got stuck, now that i have the locker sand aint any trouble now all i got to worry bout is crappy tires.

    dood...the maxxis mudders i had on the nite were the best i ever saw for the snow...the first year i had them i didnt even have to use 4wd in the snow....pure awsome!!

    Should do fine. just add some weight in the rear. and air down a little if ya have any issues.

    mud tires usually suck in snow/ice because of the large voids in the treads and the lack of siping in the tread blocks but, i got around in 2wd just fine last year with my KM2's.

    the maxxis really siphones out great...you could see all the snow ans slush being slung out while running

    I never had a problem from my old procomp xtream MTs but then again we don't get real snow down here.
