Sweet, I'll try that tonight. After watching the video myself I was leaning towards the solenoid, its hard to diagnose these things from sitting in the cab lol
Jumped those 2 posts and it made the noise... So it's time for a new solenoid, which is an easy and cheap fix. I'll let ya'll know if that fixes it
as soon as she gets running smartass So did some google/youtube mechanicing and found out that the starter makes that noise when it's not getting enough voltage Swapped batteries out of Maxine and she turns over! but still won't start... I've got gas to the carb, so next up is checking spark... charging the battery right now
She starts! But runs real rough and dies after a couple seconds... I pulled a plug and it was wet and black so I think she's flooding. I also don't know how old the gas is, which isn't helping things. Running out of things to do until I start getting money again...
right on man, you should just drain all the gas right now before it starts ruining stuff. start fresh. Ive had to deal with old gas before in the stang and it just ruins all sorts of stuff.
What's the best way to drain it? and what do I do with it afterwards lol ? Also, I'm debating about keeping the A/C... This truck is going to see very little pavement and I want it to be as reliable as possible. Think I should yank the compressor and everything?
