Lookin good, man! In eager to see if the computer fixes your problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Me too. Should be here Tuesday. After a mail in rebate it'll be under $120. If it don't work, I'll send it back. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
New PCM is/was plug and play!! Good news, I've got a ground signal from the PCM for the O2 heater circuit AND the light did not come on. I'll take the truck for a drive in a little while to be sure the problem is fixed. Before I swapped it, the light would come on immediately. Only bad thing is, crank sensor light is still on. Compression test later!
Still runs a little rough, hoping the compression test will tell me something. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
Alright, took it in a good drive let it warm up. It idles way better, still a slight stumble but no where near as bad as it was. O2 codes didn't pop up once in my entire drive. Still throwing a little smoke out the pipe, burning oil??? Bad gaskets??? We will find out shortly
Compression test results are in! Every cylinder but #1 had a reading of 150-160. #1 read 130 and 137. Lowest allowed reading is 128. While those 2 readings are low, I don't really think I have a gasket leak. if the numbers were lower, I would think that would be my problem. I tested each cylinder 2-3 times before moving to the next cylinder.
MSD ignition coil will be here at 11. I think the coil in the truck is pretty old. Found a set of numbers on it that I think could be a production date, 0908. Other than that, I Ave no clue what brand or when it was put on. Replacing a few hoses here and there, I gotta find the misfire.
I hope you have better luck with the msd than I had. The PO put one on my mustang like a month before he sold it. It went out like 2 weeks after I got it, left me stranded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
