I've always read good things about them. Maybe mine was just bad luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got it on, didn't fix the issue but the old coil tip was loose so it was probably needing a new one soon anyways. The rest of the ignition system is new so why not replace it? Time to dig around again. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
Mileage is shitty. Haven't driven it much before replacing the PCM . I think he truck just died though. Seafoamed the engine, thing won't start. Thought maybe I hydrolocked it, pulled the plugs and blew the cylinders out. My buddy came over to give me a hand. He noticed that the fuel pump wasn't cycling when the key was turned to the on position. Got the plugs and wires put back in/on and got the truck to run off starting fluid. Doesn't seem to be getting fuel now. I don't know wtf is going on lol. I'll check it out tomorrow!
yea no shit lol im ticked. wanted to try to clean the engine out with some seafoam and now it dont work at all. kinda odd. checked the fuel shutoff switch at the passenger kick panel, its not tripped. checked the relay and switched it with the horn relay, it works. some thing odd, fuse doesnt have 12volts across it when the key is turned to the ON position. that aint right.
Dang... Every test I can think of, you already did ha ha. What did you get yourself into? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm an idiot. While I was letting the seafoam sit, I pulled the dash cluster out to replace the CEL bulb. In order to pull the dash trim off you have to unplug the fuel tank selector switch. I didn't plug it back in....even though I only have 1 tank, the plug still needs to be plugged in to complete the circuit. Truck runs. Let's forget this happened. On to the P0385 (crank sensor code). I did just retrieve an EGR insufficient flow code as well. Getting ready to test the DPFE before I start replacing more crap. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
