That Impala in Batman's vid was ridonkalous! I have a fairly "wild" cam in my 57 VW and it's a pain in the ass to drive around town. When I rebuild it I will use a smaller cam.

Not a bad sounding $500 motor there Dustin!

what would you think of sanding it down and hitting it with matte black and some gloss?
    and reproduction mirrors?

That should look hawt Batman. I'd lose those semi mirrors and get some more sleek but still vintage looking.

Rebuild! Anyone can BUY power... how many can actually say they BUILT power? Thats why I am building my 454 Twin Turbo from the ground up, so when I get 750HP and 1000 ft/lb its all mine for the braggin. DO IT!

i would not put a 5speed in it... unless you have a 5speed built...... i had a built 95 z71 with a roller cammed 355.... and i ripped the damn trans out 2 times... then i had it rebuilt...(with very light beefed up mods) and i still ripped it out.. but it was in a 4x4 and the motor put out around 380 horse... if you are wanting to build a decent cheap reliable engine.. build the 350.... the 400 would be a better choice... just cost a little more if you have to buy an engine.. seperate... becouse then you would have to buy a flywheel.. and harmonic balancer.... where if you went with a 350... you could swap out parts from anything to 4.3 v6 to the 350.....most of the 350 and 400 parts are interchangeable but the 400 is internally balalnce....

i would put an auto in it... turbo 350....... but if you ever need any chevy parts let me know...or any questions...
