I got a few questions for anyone that knows AC systems well. Hooked my gauges up and I read 110 on low side and 125 on high side. This is while the truck is off.

If they both equal then this high of a static charge, then my system does not have a leak correct? Could my compressor br bad and that's why I have no cold air?

Now I'm runnin the truck w/ a 1500rpm idle. My low reads 0 and my high reads 125. The air out the vent is slightly cooler than ambient temp. Sounds like I'm just a can of r134 low. I must have had problems cause I would try to fill while the truck was idlig at 700. Any thoughts to all of this guys? Thanks in advance

Just shut the truck off. The low side is slowly goin back to 110. Is it a bad compressor? Ugh. I'm melting in Texas and would love any assistance. Thanks!

and if low side is at 0 and high side is at 300 that = bad granted it might cost ya 300- 1000 dollars to fix it correctly i just spent 600 on my truck and i get parts at cost and do mine myself

I appreciate the warning. Truth be told I don't have the cash to pay a shop to fix it. I have money for me to attempt the fix and then if not I'll jus suck it up for the remainder of the summer.

Roushpsd mentioned an evaporator valve in the dryer typically goes bad. I ordered and have a new dryer. So I'll swap out that and recharge Nd go from there. Thanks again. I appreciate the warning but I can't afford an AC cost right now other than what I've currently spent.

Saw the expansion valve online for $1.35 Vano.
The pain of "EPA evacuation", changing the dryer, pulling a vacuum
    and recharging the system.

Our trucks have orifice tubes you will need a tool to remove it it's always a good idea to replace the accumulator / drier when you open the system up and also if you don't pull a vacuum on the system and it needs to be a 40 to 50 min vacuum other wise it will not work efficiently and you will still burn up

I took the dryer/acc out to the truck and t looks like its the wrong one. I'm gonna take t to a local shop and see what they say.
