I think it looks really sharp as it is, Supercab 92-96's are some of the best looking Fords ever. Just needs some bigger tires, I think I've seen training wheels bigger than the ones it has. All in all though its a heck of a deal, and should be a great truck. I have the red interior too, I hated it at first but it's growing on me. The 351 equipped F-150s all had the E4OD and the manual transfer case (at least all the ones I've ever seen), so it has the same engine/trans combo as a 4x4 f-250 or f-350, with the coil-sprung ride comfort of the F-150. I love my 250, but man does she ride rough over bumps. You also got a great deal because since it is a 96, it is OBDII, making it alot easier to diagnose problems down the road.
Very nice truck there Bats. Even though that was a nice 250 you had, think you made the right decision. How many miles on her? Could have been the blue interior Ford had. My old '81 F150 and '85 Ranger had the red interiors, so I like it much better than the other options that were available. EDIT: Oh, and leave the wheels alone, but do wrap them in some bigger meat.
she has 210,000 on her now...high milage but it runs great...ima do some tlc though just in case...ima do a tranny flush and a few other lil things...ima make this one last..unless i get a offer i cant refuse
that'll look sharp. Wait till you see the winch bumper I have in store for mine. You will want one too. It will be a few months though.
depends on the difficulty and such. We'll talk about it after I get mine built. Pretty sure I would need a vendor membership anyway, which is not a problem.
