ok so my old man was trying to build a 1953 chevy pick up (it was the first truck he got when he was 16). he got creative and found a 1990s model single cab short bed chevy truck and decided to swap the bodies. his plan was to have a fuel injected, disc brakes newer model truck with the old style body. he has the body swapped over, but it needs ALOT of small sheet metal work and then wiring left for it to be complete. my oldest brother is a freshman at Baylor and i have a sister that is about to graduate and may be going there as well, so its safe to say that my dads gonna be a little poor for a while haha. he has decided to throw in towel and either sell or give the truck away......and there is no way that i can let him do that so im gonna take it over. itll put a hold on my truck and motorcycle stuff, but i think itl be worth it in the end and mean alot more to him. as soon as i get it ill post up pics so yall can see how far in the hole i am haha
i know i know, its a chevy haha but itll be badass hopefully in the end. i already plan on doing a 2/4 on it and the whole rest of it will be stock for a while. its gonna need ALOT of sheetmetal work, so itll be a ongoing project for a while. the original gas tank was so smartly placed behind the drivers seat, so now there is a fuel cell in the bed. the frame is going to have to be straightened and then ALOT of electrical work to swap it all over
