I want those tires...except in a 35. I heard theyre really good but dont do so well in the rain......
I like the looks of them but when I looked at them in person, that red lettering looks to be screen printed instead of actually being red compound in the sidewall like a white letter. It will be interesting to see how they hold up for guys that are buying them for the red letters instead of the tread pattern.
I really don't think I will take the mud flaps off. While I don't like the look of them, when removed they leave a gap where the OEM fender flare doesn't come all the way down. The red lettering caught my eye originally. But I went with the tire because of the tread. Not only does the tread look just plain sexy, I am on the beach a lot, and these are supposedly at home in the sand. It will be interesting to see how well the red letters hold up. Was driving around this morning after some wet nasty snow last night. I had almost no traction what-so-ever. Once out on the highway I was okay, and they did fine on wet pavement. Any ice or slush crap was difficult though. 2wd most of the time, but i was in 4wd occasionally.
A couple more shots, though the truck is still dirty. Pesky rain/snow. Close up of just the wheel and tire, and a shot of how much the 12.50s stick out on an 8" wide wheel with 4.25" backspacing.
Thanks, I hope so too. Also hoping for decent tread wear out of them. Couldn't find any info on that anywhere. Too new a tire for much info maybe.
