This was last May. The last snowstorm of the spring.

Bought some retrofits that a friend had on his 09 lariat, same color scheme. I think i'm gonna open them up, take out the square halos and clear over the paint

What is it with some of these retrofit companies using massive square white diodes. The spacing between them isn't even even.

Chrome paint the shroud's latitude lines,
hope your paint friend gave you some
of touch up blue to finish those shrouds.

Kind of a match the grill look. Whad'ya think?

Yeah I'll be getting more blue/tan paint. Take the halos off, sand down the excess glue. Repaint, clear. Should be looking good

Tan trim the headlights, blue shrouds, and brushed buckets? or brushed shrouds and blue buckets.

I kinda like how they are now. Only thing I wana change is leave the blinker bowl chrome so my switchbacks will be bright.

Also upon opening up the headlights it was a disaster (why wouldn't it be? It's me and my luck) I ripped all the tacky halos and stuff out that I didn't want. One of the headlights was pretty solid. The other headlight is completely trashed. All the screws that hold the trim piece to the clear lens are all broken off. One of three mounts that hold the actual headlight bucket in are broken. I got shafted on this deal for sure. Looks like my only option is to take the projectors out (assuming they still work) and buy some stock heads off craigslist and start from scratch. :Grenade:

You say leave the bowl chrome, but hoenstly, my switchbacks are very bright and I have all black corner lights. I can see my flashers going without sticking my head out the window. They are a "projector" style switchback lol
