So the other day I was hanging with some friends and they asked me how much my truck was worth, and it occurred to me that I had no earthly idea. I know I payed 17,000 even for it, but it's sure changed a lot since then. So I figured I'd consult with the experts, the guys that see my truck and other ford trucks the most, YOU GUYS!
So I guess let the estimates begin? :)

you would have a hard time getting your money back, blue book and NADA values are about 2500-5000 more than what actual private party sale prices have been the past 2 yrs. My truck (different scenario being 2wd) books for $16500 and I can't sell it at $12500 to save my life

Mods sometimes hurt sales. There's a lot of people out there that steer away from buying a truck that's been "modded" by someone else, me being one of them. Mods/upgrades are basically non existent when it comes to what a dealership will give you for it. All they see is a 2004 FX4 with 99K miles on it.
