I might do it sunday. I just don't wanna start and then not get finished in time to go to work lol I think I've got it all figured out though. I just tested them before dinner and they both spun so I know they work.

    that's a good sign! hahaha.

intall shouldn't take you long. I zip tied mine, theyre sturdy but you might be able to make some brackets.

Yeah I could always zip tie it temporary and then make brackets later on. Only thing I'm worried about is getting the temp set right. Instructions aren't very good it says "counter clockwise to lower temp and clockwise to raise turn on temp. Adjustment range is only 3/4 turn total rotation. Do not force past the stop or all warranty is void."

I could have swore it did lol.

you might be able to call derale and ask them.

I do remember when I did mine that I didn't have to turn it very far. ive got it set at like 200-210.

play with it on a hot day. drive around and see how often the fan comes on. if it comes on too often up the temp.

you might be able get and active reading with a code scanner. I think some of them will read sensors. it might show you the ECT sensor.

Yeah I thought about the scanner but I don't know anyone with a good enough scanner that can do that. Hmm... maybe ill just hook it up and then go drive it around until it gets up to temp. If my truck runs hotter than it does now, then I just turn the temp down and if its running cooler than it is now ill turn the temp up. That's the only way I can think to do it without a water temp reading.

even if the truck runs a tad bit hotter than normal it wont hurt it.

hahaha. give the company a call and see if they have the thermo set at a specific temp from the factory.
