oh i gonna drive it til it dies and then swap in the 351 carb w/mild cam and maybe a P&P with a ZF5 but how hard would it be to convert my auto to stick cause idk what to do about the clutch
Just get a hydraulic clutch assembly. Find the whole pedal assembly out of a wrecked truck and go from there. Check out the mustang forums, they do it all the time. And I think TheJMC(?) did the swap over on F150online S197 Mustang Tranny Swap - Automatic-To-Manual Transmission - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine
i know JMC is the one with the 5.4 swap notes which are great but ill see if hes got the stick shift swap also
run er in the ground dude. cross the replacing things bridge when it gets here. ive put 83k on mine since i bought it 3 years ago and never had a problem with it. other than regular maintenance and tires ive spent 50 bucks on a new coil and replaced it myself
