Our only law is to have no more than 4 white lights facing forward in oncoming traffic. We can have as many as we want on if nobody else is in front of us
Thats alaska lol.. the lower 48 is different i'm sure.. i'm keeping my truck to the laws of WA state (one of the stricktest) so i can drive it when i'm back home
Thanks for the write up man. However i don't want them to come on with the high beams(not allowed here)So can i just by-pass where it says"One wire goes to high beam" Thanks guys,Ya guys have been awesome.I am feeling better about doing it.
Very true. However want them on and off when i want to from inside the cab bro, lol.I dont want to get out every time i want them and off, lol.
Give me a few and I'll get that fixed up for ya Here's the new diagram Your switch should have 3 prongs on the back, labbelled Power, Assc, and Ground The circuit breaker is the same as a fuse btw. Hot wire from battery to Power on switch Accessory wire from switch to Hot wire from lights Ground everything. Run the Accessory and Hot wires into the cab at the same time, a lot easier than trying to do it twice (ask me how I know...) Make sure there is slack in the wires and they aren't rubbing against anything that will cause a short. The Fuse/Breaker should be as close to the battery as possible. That way, any short in the wire will blow the fuse instead of catching your truck on fire. let me know if you have any more questions
