    His dad blames it on himself. He says he never took the initiative to show him how to do anything and if there were any problems with my bf's car, his dad would take it to go get repaired.

    It sorta works out to my benefit, i work on my truck and he leaves me alone so i get to do it in peace.

    My dad didn't have to teach me I just kinda picked it up and started working on ol white as soon as I got it

    its very common where i live unfortunately. He will learn bc i refuse to pay a mechanic for something i can do myself.
