    Haha Unless they were using gold-plated stainless steel...

    I paid $105 for my $40 glasspack to get installed, had it exit in front of the rear tire too. Same guys quoted me about $600 for a dual exhaust out the back with muffler, no tips

    that style exit shouldnt cost more than $250!!

    i would go with true duals, no crossover and magnaflow magnapacks with some nice 4X18" SS tips.

    Well the whole reason i was asking all these questions is bc i figured i could have 2 of the Borla mufflers with an X pipe and the dual side exit, which would be a true dual(correct me if im wrong). After the initial price quote i kinda put off the idea of an exhaust.Then i thought about what diameter the inlet and outlet needed to be and then what tips felt like i was going a little over my head and settled on the Roush (which either way i love). So before i made a final purchase i figured i would ask.

    All this lead me to the conclusion that it'll just be better if i get the Roush and do it myself, my boobs obviously get in the way of anyone being honest with me when it comes to my truck.

    yes, that would be true duals. since you have a pipe coming off each manifold and not joining together as one.

    as for the diameter, go with 2.5" piping.

    those borla mufflers are expensive!! youre looking at almost 300 just for the damn mufflers!! :eek:

    I dont mind spending the money if i know its something that im going to like. When it comes to my truck im incredibly picky. The more i think about it the more the Roush just seems like an all around better option.

    i dont blame you, im the same way.
    im just thinking that
    borlas=300
    SS tips=100
    labor and piping=100

    it would seem that the Roush would be a better deal for you and im sure it comes with some type of warranty, plus you get to do it yourself, which is always fun!

    The prices i got were no where near that but broken down that way the cost would more or less be the same i would just have the security of knowing i worked on my truck. I like to work on it myself. No one has had to touch it yet and i would like to keep it that way as long as possible! lol
