need to find out if it is a motor mount first!

I doubt its under warranty lol

I rolled under the truck and checked the motor mounts, they looked ok, bushings seemed like they were in place. there are only 3 fords at my parents house. my dads truck, the work pick up and then mine.

for the hell of it I flipped the yoke at the trans side of the shaft...just trying anything I can.

this time when I took the shaft off of the rear diff I noticed some fluid coming out, wasn't enough to drip on the driveway though. normal?

If you got fluid coming out of the rear diff its probably a pinion seal. Fluidn coming out of transfer case/tranny is normal.

yea I only noticed it when I took the driveshaft off, I don't see anything dripping.

I just wonder if whatever is going wrong is causing the seal to start leaking now.

well I took the shaft off and spun the yoke around, seems like the sound quieted down quite a bit. the yoke was perfectly aligned with my alignment mark from when I put my u joints in. so now my alignment marks on the drive shaft and the yoke are complete opposite.

    :boxed:

making me think about doing the same at the rear end.
