The entire thing is all plastic so I'll lay out what I've done on my plastics:
    1. Clean it up good with some degreaser
    2. Sand with 200 grit, then 400
    3. Wetsand 800 for a surface that the paint with grab onto
    4. Clean up any dust on the surround/grill
    5. Hit it with some adhesion promoter (Bulldog works well, as does Duplicolor)
    6. Spray a plastic primer with a flex agent
    7. Spray your color you want in a light coat (If ptm then Duplicolor or Sherwin Williams will mix up a spray can)
    8. Wetsand with 1500 grit
    9. Repeat 7 and 8
    10. Clear coat (Duplicolor Clear Top Coat works)
    11. Let it cure
    12. Finish off with rubbing and polishing compoung

    Hope this helps

    ^^What he said.

I painted mine without doing all that though. I scuffed it real good with Scotch Brite pads. Cleaned it really good. Sprayed it with Dupli-Color Adhesion Promotor, primed it then painted it. I did that almost 7 months ago and it still looks like it did the day I sprayed it.

    Good luck! :peace:
