with the addition of the new add a leafs, I also too out the wedge piece that sits with the axle block (needed for lowering shackles but wanted to try it without)

So what I need help with is the pinion angle for the rear axle and drive shaft

Are you wanting to know what the factory pinion angle is?

Anything over 2" supposedly requires shims. Although I'm a lot lower then 2" in the rear and have never had any vibration. So I would assume if you're lifting it's the same as lowering. Anything over 2" probably requires the shims.

Unless you're getting some driveline vibration, I wouldn't worry about it to be honest dude.

I am getting some vibration at lower speeds though...right now the differential is pointed up slightly more than the axle is

I have them but the head of the pin isn't long enough to go through the shim and to the block so I was just trying to figure out the right angle so I can try other things too

    EDIT...all worked out thanks anyways
