Need some input on tires

    Alright guys, so heres the deal - I've got a buddy who is getting new wheels and tires on his chebby and is offering to sell me his tires. They are 285/70/17 BFG ATs with 26k miles on them and he told me to give him a price for them cause he wants them gone when he puts his new setup on. How much do you think I should offer him for the tires?

    they probably have about 50% tread on them, and a set of 285's new is about 900..i'd say 300 or less

    Ok cool...I was thinking about starting around 200 with him and going from there.

    that's a good price, you gotta remember you gotta pay to have them mounted.. it cost me $60 to have my old A/Ts mounted at discount tire

    Yeah, I knew i would have to get them mounted...60 isnt too bad though
