Okay so I finally got my sub box carpeted yesterday and in the truck. I also carpeted in a raised ford oval in the box without the ford letters. I would like to do the ford lettering in LEDs inside the oval. How should I go about doing it? I know its gonna be complicated so tell me however.
U can kinda see the oval in these pics.btw that weird lookin crease is now gone.

lol its all good man. just wire the cathodes together and the anodes together. the anodes are + and cathodes are - so you would put the anodes to power with a fuse and ground out the cathodes. all you need is some pretty small guage wire depending on how many LEDs you use but im going to say maybe an 18 or 20 gauge wire. should be fine to pull the amps you need which isnt much at all.

Yeah, see wiring I think will be hard because I dont know how I can conceal the wire from one.led to the other

the other thing is you might want to look at a low brightness LED. if its too bright it may become a distraction.

3mm LED Package Type | 1 to 2000 mcd | Component LEDs | Super Bright LEDs

idk if you want blue but these arent super bright and they shouldnt cause any distraction. i think 4000 milicandela might be as high as you want to go, depending on where this is going to be mounted and if the LEDs will be facing you.

simple stuff man. you could just take some wire, cut it into a few pieces and, solder the ends to the LED and then solder the wires together.

you would wana solder these for sure, espeically on the anode/cathode part. how you connect them would really depend on how many LEDs you plan on using. its fairly easy.
