okay so heres the deal i got this bright idea after getting my 1997 f150 stepside that i would take off the fender flair skirt kit off and it left me with holes in my box that were just random holes that my fender flairs clipped into to and regular fender flares off a f150 reg box wont fit so i bondo the holes on my drives side and it looks like complete @SS cause the paint doesnt match so now i have two choices

Buy bushwacker fender flares to cover up the unmatched paint?
    or
re paint the truck same color, at a buddys shop

so my questions are: should i buy fender flares ( then i would get 1.5Inch wheel spacers to have good offset and a good stance) or paint the truck if i paint the truck i would fill in holes with body filler

and is there even a bushwacker type of fender flairs that fit on stepsides?

    Give me your advice

im just worried it wont turn out the greatest but then again it couldn't look worse then what it is done. but it would look sweet with the wide stance of wheel spacers

bedliner the entire truck. it will be cheaper. :jester:

The bushwackers will use the exisiting holes that you bondo'd up.

Really it up to you, depends on what you like.

i could push the bondo out of the fender and the box to make the bushwackers fit but im looking at 290 for flares and then 109 for wheel spacers and then 129 for the paint same color as i have for single stage paint

get some stampede flares like this, they will fit your stepside

edit: pictures won't work, I'll put them up later, but it was a picture of nitewolf's truck

I want the Stampedes like Nitewolf has. I would say go for those. It'll be cheaper then a shaty paint job.

You need to fix it properly or put the flares on. That filler will eventually crack and fall out.
