i thought i read something about LEDs and needing to change flashers when using them as turn signals.

yea thats where i wired mine, the corners, its the parking light and turn signal.

on mine the brown wire is power for the parking lights but the blinker wires are light green and white and white and light blue. heres the diagram.

Maybe they changed the wiring from 2001-2002 but I only had two wires, that's the only way mine worked like that.

Alright Will i got some pics.

i just got my two new ones in the mail.

    Heres how they sit

small metal clip with double sided tape on it.

    heres the clip i used

Grounded them to the air temp sensor (i think thats what that is lol)

Power from brown parking light wire in wire harness above radiator

heres what all 5 will look like. they look a little off though. i was kinda close to the truck and the two new bolts are just resting there at the moment.

Im thinking im just going to keep them mounted the way i did it. i mean it works and they are in there nice and sturdy. plus i already have them wired up so i would have to unwire them to do a new mount.

The way u wired those is alot better/easier than how I tried to last time ha, I never knew the wire ran that close to the grille. Nice job man.

Thanks dude. That loom of wires has everything that controls the outside lights in it. Blinkers, head lights, bright, fog lights ect. It was just a pain in the ass getting that loom of wires down so i could access it. its got plastic clips that plug right into the metal above the radiator, gotta pry them out. other than that its simple.
