    They're good for lighting up everything right next to the rig, like rock-crawling.

    Actually a lot of folks are getting the diffused for reverse ones. But both will work.

    Personally. I'd NEVER spend that much on reverse lights.
    I swapped out my reverse bulbs for LED's
    There's 120 LED's on each bulb.


    Here's the output from just replacing the stock bulb. (not quite dark yet, so its not the best example)

    I just looked on ebay and found replacement reverse light bulbs with 5w & 7w Cree led's w/projector lenses (plug and play). I've got a headlamp with a 5w Cree projector and I can tell you... you would have no shortage of light with those. :jester:
