I finally got some new speakers in my truck today. Nothing fancy I replaced all 4 6x8 speakers with some Kenwood 6x8's. I am really happy with my sound system now. 2 of the 4 speakers were in bad shape. All the speakers that were in the truck were factory speakers.

hahaha, lucky you. I would assume the hardest part would be taking the door panel off

Oh, great, another thing I'm thinking of doing....speakers...guess I should make a list and prioritize everything.
Did you buy the speakers from Mickey's? or separately and have them install?

I bought the speakers from them. I paid 80.00 a pair for 2 pairs. It cost 50.00 a pair for getting them put in. I also bought 2 year warranty. for 19.00 a pair. The speakers seem too have pretty good high and lows. Its hard too compare to the stock speakers because they were blown when I bought the truck. I just did not want too tear the truck apart and do it myself in the dead of winter as I have no garage. I would assume the hardest part would be getting the rear panels off to change out the rear speakers. The drivers rear on mine would be the hardest as it is not a door on my truck. All in All I am pretty happy with the results. I have not driving the truck much over the weekend as I drive a truck all week.
