So I have been gettin pretty good gas mileage, 16+ combined 18+ hwy, w/ my 35x12.5 ATZ's. They are about to be out in another 10k or so and I had been kicking around the idea of going w/ a slimmer tire, but still a 34.5-35" height. Here are the sizes and tires I'm thinking of. I'll make a poll as well. Thanks!

Out of those two options I gotta go BFG. Get great mileage out of them and they aren't as heavy as some tires out there

Nittos, narrower will be lest wind resistance for better mpg :peace: Check the weights though, I'd go a lighter tire over a narrower one

First you say Nitto, then you say narrower will be better. yet, the BFG are the Narrower of the 2 tires I listed. And incidentally, Wind Resistance is laughable. You actually get better mpg on a narrower tire not due to it being tucked into the well and out of the wind, but because it has a lower frictional surface area thus equating to greater mpg.

The lighter tire also is a factor for greater mpg, and if Carolinaboy is right, the BFG is lighter and (obviously) narrower.
