It always does, I went to Ford to repair my truck back when it was new for a skip I felt. On the way there it skipped bad, but would never throw a code. Got there, got a mechanic to drive it with me, ran like a champ the ENTIRE 10 mile trip. Got back, let em check codes, they found nothing.
