So my dad crunched his tailgate up with the trailer. Forgot to lock it and the tongue popped off when the dump bed was up. He didn't want to drive around all next week with it since our logos are on it, just looks bad, we like our trucks looking nice ha ha. So to quickly get a new tailgate on i went to CL and found a 2013 tailgate in Oxford white for $500. Cheaper than buying one and having it painted, and quicker than insurance. But my dad doesn't like the new style tailgate, the ford oval and the superduty stamp take away from the company logos. Solution! I gave him mine, which is in better shape than his was, and I took the 2013'! No painting, no waiting Everyone's happy ha ha. Yeah! Just driver side hinge needs to be swapped, just for the lift assist on the new ones. 12 years apart with the same paint code, and other than the shine of it being brand new it matches almost perfectly. Sent from My Porcelain Throne using Tapatalk
Ha ha, Thanks man. i think I'm sticking with my bumper, I don't feel like messing with the back up sensors. I really like the 13' because of the little line they stamped towards the top. If I ever get around to the 05 grille and front bumper, other than my mirrors and t444e badge you won't be able to tell What year my truck is at first glance ha ha.
