So i did the dreaded spark plug change on my 05 f150.. Half the plugs broke so i took the heads off n decided to get the heads reaurfaced... Everything went back together without a problem truck ran perfect for a day and a half.. Then it started to idle rough n run as if it wasnt firing on al cylinders.... Kicked the p0171 code so i did the obvious.. Checked the vaccum hoses.. Sprayed fluid around the intake to check for leaks, Exhaust leaks nothing.... Swapped the o2 sensors around to see if it would show lean on bank 2 instead.. Nothing.... Swapped the injectors around to see if that was the problem.. Nothing... Im out Of ideas... Any help will be appriciated...

I was on here alot during the proccess and read about that tool, i think that would have gotten them off, but who knows we had trouble pulling one our even with the head off... I just said wat the heck... All its gonna cost is a little extra time and the machine work fee... Im glad i did it, they where DIRTY! had tons of build up... Must be the crappy arco gas...

    That's fun.

Mine has been in 3 times now for the injectors. The first time was post hydrolock.
