I am fully convinced on meguiars products. When I first bought the truck I used Meguiars paint restoration kit and loved it. It consisted of their soap, clay bar kit, polish, and wax with supplied micro fiber towels and applicators. I added Meguiars ultimate polish to go with the ultimate compound the kit provided. The kit completely transformed my faded paint to a beautiful shiny black paint, but I had good paint to work with in the first place. Now I just use:

Meguiars Gold Class Wash Shampoo and Conditioner.

Meguiars Clay Bar Kit (If needed, only do it every now and then)

    Meguiars Black Wax.

Buff and Dry with Meguiars Water Magnet Towel.

Once you get your paint nice, shiny and scratch/swirl mark free you want to keep it that way, by using something that doesn't scratch the paint when you wash it.

I use Meguiars Microfiber Wash Mitt. The swirl marks and light scratches I removed with the polishes over a year and a half ago have still not returned using this mitt.

I've been temped to use some of the really nice wax brands like Adams and what not, but have decided its ridiculous to buy a $70 wax and use it on my truck, that I use like a truck. haha Maybe if I had mustang, camaro or anything that didn't see a lot of dirt.

I'm very pleased with the Meguiars products though, they work great and are affordable.

After spending hours cleaning my truck the past couple days, it decides to downpour early this morning. At least the inside is still clean..

Well that sucks. I washed my truck the other day and didn't realize I sprayed all the clay mud off where I park, so my clean truck is parked in clay mud. haha
