    DP makes good tuners, but I've heard of alot of guys running the spartan on your model.

    I think dp only has they're own tuner for the 7.3, but they sell tuners for the 6.0 and 6.4. I'm not sure if they offer custom tunes for them or not.

    Id say get an h&s performance tuner
    They are #2 in the demiesel world only to EFI live and they arent far behind

    There are a few tuners that will turn off the DPF and can be run with out a delete. The livewire 9265OR and KEM both will work that way.

    DP and PHP both run chips which do not work past the 7.3. PHP i also think has not gotten into tuning the 6.4

    Rule of thumb is dpf/egr delete, tune and intake. but souldn like youll want to level first since those are about 2k

    At what point would/should I stud the truck? I'm not gonna be a 600hp truck, but I'd like to run a good 500.

    Iirc studs aren't needed really till you're over 550-600 or have hg failure due to coolant issue.

    600 is pretty easy to get to on a 6.4, it's expensive to make reliable though

    I kinda like the SST lift. But I like the rough countries better because of the springs instead of the spacer.

    At this point Spartan is the only way to go on a 6.4. H&S has stopped production on their dpf off tunes because they are in talks with the EPA rite now. My pops has a flow pro on his truck and we put it on in about an hour underneath our carport. He also has a spartan with 300 horse tune on it now, because it gets the best millage out of the tunes he has. Beware though, the big tunes will blow your head gasket. We are trying to figure out rite now if his are on their way out because he is losing coolant little by little. This could just be from a leaky cap on the reservoir.

    If you do tune, drive it conservative and it will get in between 15-19 mpg. Also I wouldn't put latter bars on. From what I've seen first hand with the trucks that have had them, they have had to go into the trans because the hard shifting strain was put onto the trans off of the axle, which is axle wrap. Just what I've come to conclusion on, could or couldn't be true, just my opinion. Anything Icon is good, as long as they have fixed the issues they were having with the track bars. S&B intake with the following mods will make you extremely happy and you will have the ability to rape any ricer and most morons that feels like toying around on the way home from work.
