My current setup is 2 Memphis PR12s in a sealed down firing box under the back seat powered by a 2000watt ebay amp (Lanzar) VIDEO0111 - YouTube I had the same speakers and amp in my Mustang (but in a different box) and they hit alot harder... I think this box is WAY to small for 2 12s.. You think it would be a good idea to seal one hole up and run only 1 12 on the amp?? That would give it more airspace and more power but would it be maybe to much power??
You gotta think about cabin volume too. Our trucks are bigger than mustangs so you might feel like they aren't hitting as hard when really it might just be cabin gain
Ive tried but I still cant get what I want out of it.. Thats why im thinking if I bridge both channels to one sub I might get better results.. Ahh good point.. this is somthing I havent thought about.. Also I dont think it helps that the subs are so close to the floor.. Im just overall not happy with this set up but I have limited knowledge when it comes to audio but I really dont want to drop alot of money in it either..
If you decide to go to one sub let me know if you want to sell the other. I've been thinking about going up to a 12 instead of my one Memphis 10.
Okay cool.. Im gonna try to mess with it this weekend or maybe next week.. Im thinking ill just unplug one sub then bridge the other and see what happens lol..
