I'm not completely audio-tech savvy enough to really weigh in here, but i've got 1 memphis 12 that was bridged. According to the guy that put it all in for me. And anyway, i've compared it, to other friends with two 10's, or 12's and mine blows theirs out of the water
I I got a buddy with 1 sony 10 bridged on a 800watt kenwood amp and he hits almost as hard as mine.. I really think its the box thats holding mine back.. theres just no way that box has enough air space for 2 12s..
I don't know... the box was in the truck when I got it.. I'm gonna try to mess with it soon and ill take some measuments.. Sent from my Inspire 4G using Tapatalk
Okay time to start tearing into this to find out whats going on.. Heres a couple better pics of the box.. No measurments yet but does it even look big enough??
Hmm well maybe it is.. But Ive already found my first problem.. I unhooked one sub and bridged the other and got nothing so I though **** my sub is dead so I bridged the other sub... Again nothing.. Turns out the right channel on that cheap POS amp already died... Now I can either send it in for warranty (god knows how long thatll take) Or I can try to open it myself and fix it.. but If I cant then my warranty will be void and ill have a non working amp..
It all depends on the model of the sub and the design of the box. Some of them take a lot more cf than others.
