In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
you could put a turbo in your truck for about $3k, not $5k. The major costs: blow-off valve, waste gate, turbo, piping, flash for your ECM to read boost and understand what to do w/ it, 44lb injectors, and some piping.

Sell you truck and get a red diesel! Problem solved. :birgits_tiredcoffee: ..........On another note I really like that exhaust style too. I haven't seen anybody in person running it, but I think it looks good and probably sounds amazing.

This is also a sick sounding sound exhaust.

    1.) go buy a diesel
2.) do a diesel engine swap
3.) record a diesel and play it over a PA system.

The cheapest is number 3. :birgits_tiredcoffee

:jester: Sorry dude no way to get that real diesel sound without getting a diesel.

But if your going to replace the exhaust. Do it completely get some LT headers, 2 hi-flow cats an X-pipe and whatever mufflers you like personally I like the sound of the Series 10 flowmasters.

so i had kinda a wild thought. what if you took a 3" exhasut pip like 12" long. Split it in half and welded in like "reeds" of sheetmetal inside of it literally making a whistle. Then welding it back together and installing it after the cats...
