pacesetter exhaust leak

    so Ive had my pacesetter headers for a month and they leaked after a weak so went an got ford manifold gaskets that are steel. and they still are leaking. i know many of people have had problems with these shorty headers and was wondering what they did to fix it thanks

    Get some header locking bolts

    i don't think that will fix it the bolts are tight and not backing out.

    its almost sounds like its coming form the header like a ****y weld

    nope ill do that when the 4.6 blows. don't have the funds right now. but i can here a tick with the windows up at about 2000rpm

    Wonder what the flange plane looks like?
    Straight edge would show it if one is out of tolerance.
    Maybe header warped on one or more of the ports.

    Hate to say it but i dont think too many people have had luck with shortys. Long tubes seem to work better on our trucks

    soap them suckers up and see where the leak is
